Talent

One day,
somebody asked me what I was good at.

And I stared into an empty glass,
swirled the ice around and looked at the bar.

I shrugged my shoulders and replied.

“Nothing I guess .”

Template

If it wasn’t for manners
or society’s view on things.

I probably would have pissed
on your leg to claim you.

And your feline friends would bitch
with their Gucci bags and heels.

They’d say he’s no good for you.
Such a primitive ass!

With their arms crossed they pout and wonder,

Why are men so difficult to figure out?

But the template is right there, before their very eyes.

In a dog, a man’s best friend
shows the loyalty that we all seek.
