Justin Pietropaolo lives in Goshen, New York (famous for horses and Noah Webster) and is a junior at Alfred University (famous for being close to the town Bill Pullman grew up in (oh, c'mon, you know him-- had that awesome speech in Independence Day.))  He loves the page, the stage, and the fancy new pipe he just bought.

Mary Valteau Finally Finds the Right Thing
to Say to Her Suicidal Husband
(January 20, 2010. Issue 13.)

Imagine lookin’ from wherever you
were put, and everyone in Houma ‘round
your gravesite.  Jane and Tony Garbin too
concerned with watchin’ football, drivin’ down
ten minutes late and not even dressed
well—coupla lazy bastards. Old Therese
prob’ly sleepin’ good while you’re laid to rest,
and her stupid little rat dog will raise
Hell ‘cause he wants off his chokin’ rope.
And Nate will be there too; and he will hold
me like he used to.  Maybe with a grope
or two to let me know I can be rolled
in bed with him now.  You don’t want that.  Set
that shotgun down.  My John can’t leave me yet.
