The Title is for the Untitled (July 20, 2011. Issue 29.) This is my manifesto For everything unsaid For you and me failing to be more Than physics of empty places For thoughts failing to be more Than words like "empty" "pauses" For metaphor failing to be more Than meta of these empty braces Manifestos of feelings of us In recurring empty spaces I am manifest- Oh Let these words convey More than this form of black on paper Of noise exiting my head Let these words convey The emptiness Forming black Forming noise Let the emptiness fill you like you, Be the universe Hanging above, behind, within The stillness, Of all the empty spaces Let my words be more Than a sculpture trapped in form; An unattended gravestone, Waiting to be forgotten To return to earth Hear the silent plea Oh, draws you closer Come breathe it in Come breathed in it Closer! Come closer! Bury yourself inside Be the silence of my plea Be the forgotten In this We can be the empty spaces Forming a silent plea Between these lines For us to Stand or fall For everything; Unsaid |
