Bartender

Bartender, do you have any bar snacks?

my brandied -soul
has been cut into
bite- size pieces,

my battlefield- bones
have been
scattered
in the
Wilderness

Your Ghost Town Body

Your ghost town body
With its silver spurs
dig deeper
in my thighs,
I am not your Pretty Polly
I am not your Omie Wise,
Your ghost –town
body
With its spinning
silver spurs,
(a body
crushing mine)

A Panoramic view of the Stars

We
Will go to
Breakfast
At Denny’s

You might read
Me An article
From the
Newspaper

I might
Order a large
Orange juice

You will sip
Your coffee
& give me
A Panoramic view
of the Stars

Digging a hole to China (January 20, 2010. Issue 13.)

My son
Wants to dig a hole
And then
make a car
that goes really fast
and then drive that car all
the way to China

It’s a solid plan
that just might work
this time.
